The upper track is that of the UTM - NAD 27 Coordinant based GPS Tumulus Trail Geology Tour
(The lower track is for one of the seventeen Geocaches that are located in The Badlands WSA and show an alternative (unofficial) entry to this section of The Badlands.)

The track is 4.99 miles which we covered at a moving average of 2.2 MPH. Time stopped discussing the geology was 2:25; time moving was 2:15. This is a very interesting area of The Badlands and one where the skills of map, compass and GPS are very useful. We will offer a FREE Navigation Noodle in The Badlands in October for ONDA, accepting the first eleven people to sign-up!
