Total weight of this personal, always carried first aid stuff in
a Ziploc is 3.5 oz. Carry it in your Essentials sack
Total weight is 8.5 oz plus the essential cell phone at 6 oz
Gorp bag with this stuff is 6 oz. Add a a couple of
traditional Clif Bars and a bagel and string cheese for lunch
Essential year-round hats and gloves are 7 oz
These are the only gaiters! They fit right and Velcro up
the front. Short for summer scree 4.5 oz, long, 7 oz
Total including the essential wind vest at 5.5 oz, is a whopping
2 pounds 11 oz
Essential summer wind shirt and pants 14.5 oz including stuff
sacks. Max weighs 10 pounds, but he is never carried
Additional hats, gloves and a scarf always carried in winter,
total 8 oz. The winter gaiters are worn, not carried
Summer, fall and winter insulation, one always carried, about 1
pound at the bottom of the pack
Gore-Tex Pack-lite® pants and jacket, always carried in winter
as my wind and rain protection, total 2 pounds
